You hear people saying they are a “social media specialist”. The reality is they are probably a Virtual Assistant with maybe a year or two of experience on Twitter, MySpace and Facebook. The danger of using people like this may be your liability. Do you know you are personally responsible for everything anyone does in your name? Of course you do. But did you know that includes even if they hack your accounts on your website, new media accounts or others?
